Surprisingly lavish biopic from director Roger Corman examines the life of World War I flying ace Baron Von Richtofen. Better known as "the Red Baron," Richthofen became one of Germany's biggest heroes-amassing such aeronautical rivals as Herman Goering in the process. Refusing to stay on the ground and accept a government position, he continued his aerial exploits until he was shot down by Royal Canadian Air Force captain Arthur "Roy" Brown in 1918.
