Mogwai's seventh studio album was recorded with Paul Savage, with whom they last worked on 1997's 'Mogwai Young Team' debut.
Following on from 2008's 'The Hawk Is Howling' the limited edition deluxe 2CD features a bonus CD with the previously unreleased 26 minute track 'Music For A Forgotten Future (The Singing Mountain)', recorded for Douglas Gordon and Olaf Nicolai's 'Monument For Forgotten Future' installation in Essen, Germany.
